The Music Teachers Network Harmony Referral Program Terms and Conditions

The Harmony Referral Program by The Music Teachers Network (“MTN”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”) is governed by the following important Terms and Conditions:

Program Summary

Active Clients will receive a 10% discount from the price of their weekly music lessons for each Qualifying Referral they send to The Music Teachers Network. The maximum discount is 100%. If a Qualifying Referral stops being an Active Client, the discount for that referral also stops.

Program Definitions

  1. Active Client. This refers to an individual within a household to which MTN is currently sending a music instructor. Clients taking a temporary break from lessons due to injury or holiday for up to three consecutive weeks are included
  2. Referred Client. This refers to person within a household where The Music Teachers Network does not have an Active Client. A Referred Client with more than one music student within the household counts as only one referral
  3. Qualifying Referral. This refers to a Referred Client that 1) becomes an Active Client of The Music Teachers Network; 2) has been identified as a referral prior to or upon first contact with MTN; and 3) was NOT referred to MTN by the Active Client’s MTN instructor

Program Conditions

  1. Discount Start & End. The discount begins when the Referred Client commences lessons with MTN and ends when:
    1. The Active Client discontinues lessons or
    2. The Referred Client discontinues lessons (or suspends lessons for four or more weeks) or
    3. If either the Active Client or the Referred Client fails to make timely payment for lessons
  2. Submitting Referrals. Qualifying Referrals must be submitted directly to management at The Music Teachers Network prior to or during the first contact between MTN and the Referred Client
    1. Acceptable methods of referral submission include:
      1. Email (contact@musicteachersnet.com)
      2. MTN online referral web form (/referrals)
      3. MTN new student contact form completed by the Referred Client (/register/student)
      4. Phone (800-880-7280)
    2. Unacceptable methods of submission include:
      1. The MTN Instructor of the Active Client
  3. Applying the Discount. Discounts awarded for Qualifying Referrals to Active Clients may be applied to the Active Clients’ one regular lesson or make up lesson per week. Active Clients that take more than one lesson per week may apply discounts from up to ten Qualifying Referrals to one lesson per week and any additional Qualifying Referrals may apply to an additional lesson per week subject to MTN management approval
  4. Appropriate and Customary Emails Only. If a referring Active Client provides information about this program to another person by email or mail, the email or letter must be created and distributed in a personal manner that is appropriate and customary for communications with friends and family members. Bulk email or mail distribution, distribution to strangers, or any other promotion of the Harmony Referral Program in a manner that would constitute or appear to constitute unsolicited commercial email/mail or “spam” under any applicable law or regulation is expressly prohibited and will be grounds for immediate termination of the referring Active Client’s relationship with The Music Teachers Network
  5. Right to Terminate Service. The Music Teachers Network reserves the right to terminate service to any referring Active Client or Referred Client if either attempts to use the Harmony Referral program in a questionable manner or is in breach of these Terms and Conditions or in violation of any law, statute or governmental regulation
  6. Right to Cancel Program or Change Terms. The Music Teachers Network reserves the right to cancel the Harmony Referral Program or to change these terms of use at any time in its sole discretion.
  7. Offer not transferable or redeemable for cash and is void where prohibited
